About
"Never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing."
Ronald Ulysses Swanson
I've always been really infatuated with Science Fiction, and I have always found myself drawn to different forms of digital technology. I Received my first film camera (a champaign colored Nikon N55) when I was 13, and used it religiously for 10+ years. After high school, I spent a few years working, trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life. During that time, I picked up my first digital camera and started to shoot more than ever (probably really shitty pictures). At 23, I applied to a 2-year school specializing in design and photography and decided to make the plunge to become a full-time Photographer.
During my time at school, I developed a love and appreciation for commercial photography; I'm most passionate about being able to turn a simple object into a well lit clean image that can be used in a print and digital ad. As I approached graduation, I began assisting wedding photographers, something I never originally found myself interested in. Weddings tend to incorporate almost every form of photography with so many different types of clients, and I believe that this has pushed me to become a better, more versatile photographer. Also the food's pretty tasty, so that's a plus.
